Amidst the wave of generative AI, on Friday, Dell's stock price reached a historical high of $166, with a year-to-date increase of 114%.
In addition to the new AI computer products released this week, Dell also owes a big thank you to GPU giant NVIDIA for their support.
With NVIDIA's stock price surpassing $1000 and a strategic partnership reached with Dell this week, the two will join forces to help businesses create their own all-in-one "AI factory".
This collaboration has sparked imagination in both companies' stock prices.
As one of the world's largest computing infrastructure suppliers, serving government agencies and various enterprises, Dell can help NVIDIA fill this market gap.
The AI computer launched by Dell this week may also be the next battleground.
A research report released by Morgan Stanley on the 21st predicts that AI computers will become the next key factor driving growth in the PC market, with the market penetration rate of AI computers expected to rapidly increase from 2% this year to 65% by 2028.
With such a large market space, Dell is unlikely to miss out.
Dell's five new AI computers launched this week all come equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon X series AI processors, and with built-in neural processing units (NPU) to accelerate AI inference speed. Coupled with Microsoft's Copilot feature, they are already half an intelligent assistant, capable of helping users automatically summarize documents and write memos, among other tasks.

Dell CEO Michael Dell also stated, "This year we will deliver a large number of new AI computers, and we expect that by next year, these AI computers will become people's standard computers."
From a traditional computer manufacturer to a provider of AI services, Dell has spent a full 8 years transitioning. Starting from the AI boom in 2016, it began going all in on AI.
After 2018, Dell successively launched high-end storage PowerMax with a built-in machine learning engine, AI server PowerEdge, and now the AI computer. Dell has firmly tied itself to the AI rocket.
