On October 9th, Tencent Holdings once again spent HKD 703 million on repurchases, bringing the total repurchase amount for the year to over HKD 90.5 billion. Since 2024, the amount of repurchases in the Hong Kong stock market has repeatedly hit new highs, especially driven by leading companies, sparking a huge wave of repurchases in the Hong Kong stock market, nearly doubling compared to the full year of 2023. Wind data shows that as of October 9th, the total repurchase amount in the Hong Kong stock market since 2024 has reached HKD 218 billion, while the total repurchase amount for the full year of 2023 was HKD 126.8 billion
