Chongqing's 2025 automobile replacement and update subsidies have been adjusted

On August 15th, the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce issued a notice regarding the adjustment of policies related to the 2025 automobile replacement and upgrade subsidies, stating that according to the relevant provisions of "the subsidy funds will cease once used up or the policy period expires," the funds for the first phase of automobile replacement and upgrade subsidies in Chongqing have been fully utilized. To continue to exert the incentive effect of the policy, an additional budget of 300 million yuan has been allocated for the automobile replacement and upgrade subsidies in the third quarter of 2025, which will be implemented on a monthly distribution basis. The notice mentioned that a budget of 200 million yuan and 100 million yuan will be allocated for August and September 2025, respectively, with the application principle of "total amount control, first come first served, and stop once used up."
