智通财经 APP 获悉，美国众议院金融服务委员会周五宣布，将在 3 月 29 日就硅谷银行 (SIVB.US) 和签名银行 (SBNY.US) 倒闭事件举行首次听证会。美国联邦存款保险公司 (FDIC) 董事会主席马丁·格伦伯格和美联储负责监管业务的副主席迈克尔·巴尔将为此次听证会提供证词。
在此之前，美国总统拜登向国会提出要求，允许监管机构从破产银行的高管手中收回薪酬。
3 月 10 日，在硅谷银行高管领取奖金数小时后，联邦存款保险公司查封了该银行的存款。美国监管机构上周日关闭了专注于加密货币的签名银行，以遏制系统性风险。
众议院金融服务委员会表示，将 “致力于追查” 这些银行 “崩溃的根源”。
