Subway Joins Starbucks In Solving a Big Tesla (and EV) Problem
Subway is considering adding electric vehicle charging stations to some of its locations, following in the footsteps of Starbucks. Subway has a huge retail footprint, operating nearly 37,000 restaurants in more than 100 countries, with over 25,000 of those franchises in the US. Adding EV charging could make eating and drinking inside Subway's stores more appealing, allowing customers to charge their EVs while enjoying a meal or drink. This may potentially bring good news for high-end electric vehicle makers including Tesla, Rivian, and Lucid.
