《彭博》引述知情人士報道，$中國海洋石油.HK已暫停出售英國北海資產組合的計劃。據報有關資產估值高達 30 億美元。
報道指出，由於初步報價未能達到中海油預期，令交易暫時擱置，但一旦形勢好轉，中海油可能恢復出售有關資產。中海油未有回應傳聞。
早前有報道說，中海油計劃退出英、美、加等國家的營運業務，以避免成為西方制裁的目標，並已聘請美銀協助，準備出售其於北海的資產。
