The medium and long-term UK bond yield fell more than 6 basis points, and the US CPI release day remained in a downward trend all day

At the European market close on Wednesday (August 14th), the yield on the 10-year UK government bond fell by 6.3 basis points to 3.824%. Three minutes after the release of US CPI data at 20:30 Beijing time, it rose to 3.874%, hitting a daily high, and then hit a daily low of 3.812% at 22:12, remaining in a downward trend throughout the day. The yield on the 2-year UK bond fell by 4.0 basis points to 3.566%, hitting a daily low of 3.531% at 15:20, and then continuously narrowing the decline. It rose to 3.603% at 20:34, hitting a daily high, and remained in a downward trend throughout the day. The yield on the 30-year UK bond fell by 6.6 basis points, and the yield on the 50-year UK bond fell by 6.5 basis points. The 2/10-year UK bond yield spread fell by 2.415 basis points to +25.629 basis points
