On January 9th, multiple netizens reported that the BYD Dynasty and Ocean Apps appeared to have network issues, making it impossible to unlock vehicles. Some users indicated that the app interface displayed "network not strong," preventing operations such as unlocking vehicles and voice wake-up. In response, a customer service representative from BYD stated that there was a system issue, and the technical department was urgently repairing it, suggesting users try opening the app later. A staff member from the BYD Dynasty website confirmed that they indeed found the app unusable in the morning, stating, "It should be a system upgrade; we recommend using NFC and the mechanical key." Another after-sales staff member told reporters that this was the first time such an issue occurred at BYD, "We responded quite quickly, and it has basically been resolved. If it still cannot be opened, just restart the app."
