往日时光，跌跌撞撞。作为一个普通人，能够走到今天，成为跨国集团的董事长，我内心十分感恩。不为人知的岁月里，我接触到这个真真实实的世界，了解到很多行业的规则和玩法，见识过人性的幽暗，只身走过断壁悬崖，饱受生活的折磨与挑战。现在回过头看，如果没有当年这些经历，如今我不会对很多事情看得如此透彻，做商业选择的时候也没这么杀伐决断。
比如我为什么在房地产行业如日中天的时候选择激流勇退，再比如为什么首创候鸟式旅居模式？是因为只有海南岛的资源，无法满足我们客户的度假需求——眼光只放在海南岛，是不足够支撑公司的长期发展的。“冬到海南岛，夏到威海，春秋来浪漫的天目山” 这一概念应运而生，一种模式的兴起与受到追捧，随之而来的势必是一大批模仿者来势汹汹的围剿。
