
Baidu's Apollo Park in Suzhou opens, planning to build an artificial intelligence data service industry base.

Baidu has announced that the "Baidu Suzhou Apollo Park," jointly created with the Wujiang Taihu National Tourism Resort in Suzhou, has officially opened recently, becoming the first autonomous driving ecological tourism demonstration base in the country.
Baidu (09888.HK)(BIDU.US) announced that the "Baidu Suzhou Apollo Park", jointly created with the Suzhou Wuzhong Taihu National Tourism Resort, has officially opened, becoming the country's first autonomous driving ecological tourism demonstration base. The company stated that as an autonomous driving and vehicle-road coordination application testing base, Baidu Suzhou Apollo Park integrates Baidu's leading technologies and products in artificial intelligence, autonomous driving, smart cars, and intelligent transportation, creating a smart connected ecosystem base with "vehicle, road, cloud, and map" as its core. Currently, eight ecological partners, including Jiangsu Yunwang Digital Information Technology and Luopan Network Technology, have settled in. Baidu mentioned that in the future, it will rely on Suzhou Apollo Park to build an artificial intelligence data service industry base, and its subsidiary Baidu Intelligent Cloud will also work with ecological partners to introduce and cultivate enterprises related to artificial intelligence, data annotation, digital humans, and metaverse, and construct a digital economy industry ecosystem cluster to assist local industries in digital transformation and upgrading.
