Zhitong App has learned from Sensor Tower's store intelligence data that in October 2023, Tencent's "King of Glory" generated $222 million in revenue on the global App Store and Google Play, maintaining its position as the best-selling mobile game worldwide. After the update in late September, the game introduced a new skin called "Sea Moon - Ace Nova" and offered various benefits during the National Day golden holiday, including the limited-time return of multiple skins. These updates helped the game maintain its strong momentum. On October 28th, the game celebrated its 8th anniversary and launched a new series of exquisite skins and a variety of activities. The rich content updates not only solidified the game's position as the best-selling mobile game globally but also propelled it to the second spot on the revenue growth chart.
Tencent's "PUBG Mobile" (including the revenue from "Peace Elite") ranked second on the list with a revenue of $137 million. Among them, 57.7% of the revenue came from the Chinese iOS market, 8.8% from the US market, and 6.1% from the Indian market. On October 13th, the game launched the "Yellow Ethnic Leader" event, immediately climbing to the third spot on the best-selling iPhone games chart in China.
