NEW YORK, June 25 (Reuters) - JPMorgan Chase (JPM.N) reorganized the leadership in its wealth division and appointed Sanoke Viswanathan to oversee its international wealth business, according to a memo seen by Reuters.
In his previous role, Viswanathan, who also sits on the bank’s operating committee, was the chief strategy and growth officer of the bank and was also spearheading the international consumer banking business.
He will continue to oversee the bank’s international business in addition to the new role while the bank looks for a successor for his strategy role, its CEO of asset and wealth management Mary Erdoes and bank’s chief operating officer Daniel Pinto said in an internal note.
The changes come into effect as Mike Camacho, the head of wealth management solution, left the bank last week.
Following Camacho’s exit, Martin Marron, who had led the international private bank since 2021, will now be the head of wealth-management solutions.
Meanwhile, Adam Tejpaul will become CEO of the international private bank, the memo said.
The bank’s wealth and management business manages more than $5 trillion of assets. Erdoes said in a recent interview that the economic outlook in China was improving.
