GDS-SW: Escrow bank changed to HSBC Hong Kong
GDS-SW announced that its custodian bank will change from JP Morgan Chase Bank, N.A. to HSBC in Hong Kong. From August 5, 2024 to August 12, 2024, the company will not be able to convert between American Depositary Shares and Cayman Islands shares registered with Hong Kong Securities Clearing Company Limited. However, the change will not affect the trading of the company's securities on the Nasdaq Global Market or the Hong Kong Stock Exchange
According to the news from Zhitong Finance APP, GDS-SW (09698) announced that the company recently learned that the depositary bank of its American Depositary Shares, JP Morgan Chase Bank, N.A., will change its custodian bank to HSBC in Hong Kong starting from August 12, 2024. Therefore, from August 5, 2024, to August 12, 2024, the company will be unable to facilitate the conversion between the company's American Depositary Shares and the ordinary shares registered at the company's transfer agent in the Cayman Islands, as well as the conversion between the company's American Depositary Shares and the ordinary shares registered at the company's transfer agent in Hong Kong, Hong Kong Securities Registration Company Limited.
Apart from the above-mentioned impact, the change in custodian bank will not affect the trading of the company's securities on the Nasdaq Global Market or the Hong Kong Stock Exchange during the transition period
