According to the Zhītōng Finance and Economics APP, NVIDIA (NVDA.US) is preparing to launch the next generation Blackwell GPU B100 and B200 in the coming months, which analysts believe will stimulate a new round of growth.
Piper Sandler analysts Harsh Kumar and Robert Aguanno stated in a report on Monday, "We believe that with the formal launch of the Blackwell architecture in the third quarter, NVIDIA's strong business trends from last year will continue. With the introduction of the new architecture, we believe this could stimulate new growth as demand from cloud service providers (CSPs), enterprises, and sovereign nations remains strong."
Piper Sandler reiterated its "overweight" rating on NVIDIA and raised its target price from $120 to $140.
Kumar added, "NVIDIA is seeing strong orders for its new Blackwell products, and orders for existing products such as H100 and H200 (to be launched in the second quarter of 2025) are also strong."
Piper Sandler expects NVIDIA's revenue for the quarter ending in July to exceed expectations by about $2 billion. In the previous quarter's earnings report, NVIDIA's revenue exceeded expectations by $1.48 billion.
Loop Capital also raised NVIDIA's target price from $120 to $175 and maintained a "buy" rating on the stock.
It is reported that NVIDIA is expected to start shipping B100 and B200 around October, with the Grace Blackwell GB200 superchip to be launched a few months later.
NVIDIA is scheduled to announce its latest quarterly financial performance on August 28th Eastern Time. Analysts expect the company to achieve earnings per share of $0.64 and revenue of $28.45 billion
