SINGAPORE, Aug 22 (Reuters) - Singapore Refining Company (SRC) has shut a crude distillation unit (CDU) at its refinery on Jurong Island for scheduled maintenance until September, said three sources with knowledge of the matter.
The overhaul is likely to last until the second half of September, they said, without elaborating on whether other refining units were affected.
“SRC does not comment on its facility operations,” a company spokesperson said.
SRC’s 290,000 barrel per day refinery - which consists of three CDUs - is jointly owned by Chevron Singapore and Singapore Petroleum Company, a fully owned subsidiary of PetroChina International.
