The 2-year US Treasury yield rose by 7.5 basis points. Investors are focusing on Euro-American PMI data before Powell's speech

At the New York closing on Thursday (August 22), the yield on the 10-year US Treasury benchmark rose by 5.87 basis points to 3.8597%, trading in the range of 3.7859%-3.8749% during the day, as data on Eurozone PMI, US PMI, US existing home sales, and other releases were announced, leading to overall intraday volatility to the upside. The yield on the 2-year US Treasury rose by 7.51 basis points to 4.0056%, trading in the range of 3.9194%-4.0183%
