Before the interest rate cut, US Treasury bonds achieved the longest monthly consecutive increase since 2021

According to the Bloomberg US Aggregate Bond Total Return Index, as of Thursday this month, the return rate of US bonds is 1.5%, heading towards a four-month consecutive increase, marking the longest winning streak since July 2021. With investors' growing confidence in the prospect of a rate cut in the United States, the index has been rising steadily since the end of April, with the year-to-date increase expanding to around 3%.
