
Australia's Santos appoints Sherry Duhe as new finance chief

Australia's Santos has appointed Sherry Duhe as its new chief financial officer, effective mid-October, succeeding Anthea McKinnell who is retiring. Duhe has extensive experience in the oil and gas sectors, having previously served as interim CEO of Newcrest Mining and as finance chief at Woodside Energy until early 2022.
Sept 5 (Reuters) - Australia’s Santos (STO.AX) said on Thursday that it had appointed Sherry Duhe as its new chief financial officer.
The gas producer also announced the retirement of its current CFO Anthea McKinnell.
Duhe previously held executive positions primarily in the oil and gas industries. She was most recently the interim chief executive officer of the now delisted Newcrest Mining, where she worked towards its merger with U.S.-based gold miner Newmont Corp (NEM.N) .
Duhe also served as the finance chief at bigger rival Woodside Energy (WDS.AX) for four years until early 2022.
Santos said Duhe would commence in her role from mid-October.
