BEIJING, Sept 6 (Reuters) - China lithium futures fell to a fresh low on Friday as surging supplies accelerated a downtrend of the metal mainly used for electric vehicles.
The most-traded November lithium carbonate futures on the Guangzhou Futures Exchange hit 69,700 yuan per ton, the lowest since it was launched last July.
The contract has lost 12% from a month earlier and down 36% since the beginning of this year.
