JD LOGISTICS and Dada Nexus signed a freight service framework agreement to provide local instant freight and operational support services, emphasizing long-term cooperation between the two parties and Dada's transportation resources and technological advantages to support JD LOGISTICS' growing demand in express delivery services
According to the news from Zhitong Finance and Economics APP, JD LOGISTICS (02618) announced that on September 6, 2024, the company entered into a freight service framework agreement with Dada, under which Dada Group will provide local instant freight services to the company; and an operational support service framework agreement, under which Dada Group will provide supplementary operational support services to the company.
Given that Dada Group operates China's leading local instant delivery platform, and the company has a long-term business cooperation relationship with Dada Group, the company believes that compared to independent third-party freight service providers, Dada Group can leverage its abundant transportation and delivery resources; sophisticated systems and platforms equipped with advanced algorithms; as well as mature service products and rich experience to provide more cost-effective, efficient, and high-quality solutions to meet the increasing transportation and freight capacity demand driven by the company's express delivery business growth.
