Walmart China recently underwent a senior management adjustment, with Zheng Shuo Huai taking over as COO of Sam's Club from September 2nd, while continuing to lead the membership team. Former COO Fang Xiaofeng has been appointed as CPO, with e-commerce business reporting to CMO Zhang Qing. Following the adjustment, offline operations will be overseen by Zheng Shuo Huai, while online operations will be managed by Zhang Qing. On September 12th, according to 36Kr, Walmart China recently completed a management adjustment: Zheng Shuo Huai was appointed as the Senior Vice President of Walmart China and also the COO of Sam's Club starting from September 2nd. After taking on the new position, he continues to lead the Sam's Club membership team.

The former COO of Sam's Club, Fang Xiaofeng, has been appointed as the Chief People Officer (CPO) of Walmart China. The e-commerce business of Sam's Club will now report to Zhang Qing, the Chief Merchandising Officer (CMO) of Sam's China. Previously, this business reported to the COO.

After the adjustment, the offline channel operation of Sam's will be led by COO Zheng Shuo Huai, while the online channel operation will be under the management of Zhang Qing.

Zheng Shuo Huai joined Walmart China in March 2022, serving as the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Real Estate. Prior to joining Walmart, he was a Global Partner and Chairman of the Retail Business in Greater China at the management consulting firm "Bain"
