U.S. Stock Market Movement | Non-ferrous Metal Sector Rises, Alcoa Surges Over 7%

The US non-ferrous metal sector performed strongly, with Alcoa's stock price rising by over 7%. Other companies such as Freeport Mcmoran and Southern Copper also rose by over 7% respectively. Vale SA and Century Aluminum saw gains of over 6%, while Rio Tinto and BHP Billiton rose by over 4.8%. Teck Resources rose by over 3.8%

As of the time of publication, Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold (FCX.US), Southern Copper (SCCO.US), Alcoa (AA.US) rose by over 7%, Vale SA (VALE.US), Century Aluminum (CENX.US) rose by over 6%, Rio Tinto (RIO.US), BHP Group (BHP.US) rose by over 4.8%, Teck Resources (TECK.US) rose by over 3.8%
