Morgan Stanley Investment Management: Shift in direction may benefit assets outside the United States

Morgan Stanley Investment Management's Jitania Kandhari stated that the Fed rate cut and the weakening US dollar have opened the door for emerging market stocks to outperform US stocks. "Factors such as the positive economic growth and interest rates for the US have peaked, which is now starting to benefit markets outside the US," said Kandhari, who serves as the Deputy Chief Investment Officer for Emerging Markets and Head of Macroeconomic Research, adding that the "overall macro fundamentals of emerging markets look good."
