Tesla officially announces Robotaxi release date, Musk: will go down in history
Tesla announced that it will launch Robotaxi in Los Angeles on October 10th. Musk stated that this event will "go down in history" and may be the biggest one in the company's history. According to reports, on September 26th, Tesla announced that it will unveil new products in Los Angeles, USA on October 10th (October 11th Beijing time), with the theme "We, Robot" on the event's teaser poster.
Tesla CEO Musk later stated that this event will "go down in history" and heavily promoted it as potentially the biggest event in the company's history.
Foreign media pointed out that the teaser poster is an invitation to the Tesla Robotaxi launch event, where Tesla will introduce Robotaxi.

It was originally planned for Tesla to release Robotaxi on August 8th, but Musk confirmed on July 16th that the release date had been postponed. Musk stated, "I requested important changes to the design of the front of the vehicle, and the time gained from the delay will give us the opportunity to showcase some other things."
Shortly after, sources revealed that Tesla plans to hold the Robotaxi launch event on October 10th at Warner Bros. Discovery Inc.'s film studio in Burbank, California (adjacent to Hollywood).
Musk has been hyping up the Robotaxi launch event on multiple occasions. With the issuance of the Robotaxi event invitations, Musk described it as "going down in history." Recently, he even pointed out that this may be Tesla's largest event since the launch of the Model 3.
