Microsoft announced that it will launch an upgraded version of its artificial intelligence feature Recall next month
Microsoft announced the upgrade of the artificial intelligence feature Recall, which was launched in May and then recalled, and has begun designing multiple layers of security measures for Recall to prevent hackers. In the upcoming new version of Recall, sensitive data will be encrypted using a golden key and isolated on the user's computer, so even if the computer is infected with malware or stolen, bad actors will not be able to access it, and decrypting the data will require biometric matching. The modified product will be provided to consumers next month in the form of a test version. Recall only operates on Copilot+ PC's new Windows 11 computers. The upgraded version of Recall will not be automatically installed on commercial versions of computers. Recall can record everything users do on their computers. When Microsoft launched it in May, it received significant negative feedback, with users concerned about theft and collection of records stored on their computers
