CICC stated that with recent stimulus policies from the central government, the Chinese market (A-shares and H-shares) has risen significantly, with the semiconductor and communication sectors experiencing substantial gains. By the end of September 2024, the semiconductor sector index surged by 15.5%. From September 23 to September 30, the average price increase of semiconductor A-share groups and optoelectronic/telecom groups was 37% and 32% respectively.
