According to Jinshi Data on November 12, the State Council has decided to make the following amendments to the "National Holidays and Commemorative Days Leave Measures": 1. Modify the second item of Article 2 to " (2) Spring Festival, 4 days off (from Lunar New Year's Eve to the third day of the first month)"; modify the fourth item to " (4) Labor Day, 2 days off (May 1 and 2)." 2. Add a new item as Article 7: "Holidays for all citizens can be reasonably arranged for unified leave and adjustments, in conjunction with the implementation of paid annual leave and other systems, to actually form a longer holiday. Except for a few special circumstances, the continuous working days before and after statutory holidays generally do not exceed 6 days." In addition, corresponding adjustments and modifications will be made to the order of the articles and some wording. This decision will take effect from January 1, 2025
