The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index initially fell by 4.4%, with popular Chinese concept stocks XPeng initially down about 10.8%. Nio, ZEEKR, Canaan, JD.com, and Li Auto all fell by at least 7%, while Baidu, Alibaba, Fangdd Network, Pinduoduo, New Oriental EDU & Tech, and YUM China all dropped by at least 2.8%
