AIA Life recently announced on its official website the change of chairman, stating that the company's chairman Lee Yuan Siong will no longer serve as a director and chairman of the company due to work arrangements, effective October 31, 2024. Lee Yuan Siong confirmed that there are no disagreements with the company's board of directors and will continue to serve as the Chief Executive Officer and President of AIA Group. According to relevant regulatory requirements, the company's articles of association, and shareholder resolutions, the current non-executive director Chen Rongsheng will perform the duties of chairman on behalf of the company. According to the announcement, the aforementioned change of chairman complies with relevant laws, regulations, and the company's articles of association, and the company has filed with the regulatory agency as required
