On the evening of November 15th, ICBC announced that Senior Business Director Xiong Yan has submitted her resignation due to age reasons, resigning from her position as Senior Business Director of ICBC.
According to Xiong Yan's confirmation, there are no disagreements with the ICBC Board of Directors, nor are there any matters related to her resignation that need to be notified to ICBC's shareholders and creditors.
Public information shows that Xiong Yan graduated from Hunan University and holds an International Master of Business Administration (IMBA) degree from Fudan University and the University of Hong Kong, as well as being a Senior Economist.
In 1984, she joined the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and has served as Deputy Director of the Internal Audit Bureau's Kunming Branch, Vice President of the Yunnan Branch, Deputy Director of the Direct Bureau of the Internal Audit Bureau, Deputy General Manager of the Corporate Banking Department (Corporate Finance Department) at the Head Office, and General Manager of the Institutional Financial Business Department. She has served as Senior Business Director of ICBC since April 2020.
