According to data from Adobe Inc., online spending by American consumers on "Cyber Monday" reached $13.3 billion, a year-on-year increase of 7.3%, slightly higher than the company's initial forecast of $13.2 billion. Adobe attributed the strong performance to shoppers waiting for the biggest discounts, as well as some shoppers using "buy now, pay later" loans to purchase high-priced items
