Tencent's major shareholder Prosus continues to reduce its holdings: shareholding ratio drops to 23.99%

According to Jinshi Data on December 9th, documents from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange show that on December 6th, Tencent Holdings Limited (00700.HK) major shareholder, South African Naspers Group's Dutch subsidiary Prosus, sold 474,000 shares of Tencent Holdings H shares at an average price of HKD 410.0358 per share, reducing its holding ratio from 24.01% to 23.99%, with a total holding of approximately 2.224 billion shares. Since the beginning of this year, Prosus has slowed down its reduction of Tencent shares. According to previous disclosures, from early April to the end of September, it reduced its holdings by approximately 70.5861 million shares of Tencent, cashing out USD 3.3 billion; from October 1st to November 27th, it further sold 26.4245 million shares, reducing its holdings to around 2.227 billion shares
