Is Musk a potential buyer? The "melon" of Intel's acquisition is getting bigger!
Rumors of Intel's acquisition are growing stronger, with Tesla CEO Elon Musk considered a potential buyer. Citigroup analyst Christopher Danely expressed skepticism, believing that Intel needs to replace its CEO to improve the situation. A report from SemiAccurate stated that about two months ago, a company attempted to acquire Intel, which led to a 9% increase in Intel's stock price. Despite the heated discussions on social media about Musk acquiring Intel, there is currently no solid evidence to suggest that this will come to fruition
On the evening of January 17th, Beijing time, a report from the paid technology news site SemiAccurate indicated that a company intends to acquire Intel.
The investment community Seeking Alpha recently reported that Citigroup analysts reviewed this paid report and stated in a report sent to clients, "The SemiAccurate paid report indicates that Tesla CEO Elon Musk is a potential buyer."
However, Citigroup analyst Christopher Danely is not optimistic about Musk acquiring Intel. In a report on Friday, he wrote, "Unless Intel can hire a CEO who can exit the commercial foundry business, we believe this would be a bad outcome for Intel..."
On Friday evening Beijing time, SemiAccurate reported, "About two months ago, SemiAccurate read an email about a company trying to acquire Intel in its entirety." "We fully believe in the accuracy of this email, but it took months to confirm."
This vague acquisition news drove Intel's stock up more than 9% at Friday's close.
Dylan Patel, chief analyst at the well-known semiconductor analysis firm SemiAnalysis, posted a related message on X, which was "meaningful." 
He wrote:
"Elon's plane is in Florida.
GlobalFoundries' plane is currently in Florida.
Qualcomm's plane is now in Florida.
If anyone is wondering what is happening with Intel...
They are at Mar-a-Lago.
Only saving Intel can make America great again."
This post has garnered 420,000 views, with many "onlookers" commenting below the post, urging Musk to buy Intel and tagging Musk's X account.
As of now, there is no confirmed information indicating that Musk will acquire Intel. Intel has also not publicly commented on the acquisition rumors.
But if "MAGA" indeed requires saving Intel, Musk might be willing to cross over again.
