On January 22, Nissan Motor announced that it will build a new lithium iron phosphate battery factory in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, covering an area of approximately 150,000 square meters, with an expected investment of 153.3 billion yen, and plans to start production in 2028
