Repsol, Bunge Receive EU Clearance for Joint Ownership of Bisa
Spanish energy company Repsol and Swiss agribusiness and food company Bunge secured clearance from the European Commission for the joint control acquisition of Spain's Bisa. The regulator said Tuesday the deal, which mainly relates to oilseeds processing and biodiesel production, would not raise competition concerns due to its limited impact on competition in the markets where the parties are active.
