Honda Aircraft Company has commenced production of the first HondaJet Echelon test unit, with assembly of the wing structure starting in Greensboro, North Carolina. The aircraft, set for its first flight in 2026, will feature a larger cabin and improved range. The program has entered a new development phase, with specialized assembly lines and a completed development simulator for system testing. Market interest is high, with nearly 500 letters of intent signed.
