Yandal Resources said that preliminary follow-up reverse circulation drilling completed at the Caladan target at its Ironstone Well-Barwidgee gold project in Western Australia demonstrated gold anomalism, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
Drilling suggests that the mineralized structure remains open and untested at depth and along strike, the miner said in the filing.
It has also begun a diamond drilling program of around 1,200 meters in total depth at the Siona gold discovery located within the project.
Its shares fell 11% in recent trade on Tuesday.
