
German Carmaker BMW Flags EUR1 Billion Costs Over Tariffs

Chief Executive Officer Oliver Zipse said BMW is taking a "rather conservative" provision of 1 billion euros for the effect of tariffs on operations. Executives of the German luxury carmaker also said Friday at an earnings call, according to a FactSet transcript, that they expect a mid-three-digit million-euro hit from different tariffs involving the US, China, Europe, Mexico and Canada.
