
HYSAN DEV builds Lee Gardens Phase 8 to improve transportation efficiency in the area

HYSAN DEV, in collaboration with Huamao Group, is developing the Lee Garden Phase 8 project, which will become a core landmark in Causeway Bay, optimizing traffic efficiency with an expected improvement of 25%. The project features an all-weather pedestrian walkway connecting the Lee Gardens area with the MTR station, providing a comfortable walking experience. The project also includes new retail space and 60,000 square feet of green open space, dedicated to urban innovation and sustainable development
HYSAN DEV ( 00014) and Huamao Group are collaborating to develop Lee Garden Phase 8, which will become the core landmark of the Lee Garden area, significantly optimizing traffic in Causeway Bay. It features a pedestrian passage system with all-weather lighting, fully connecting the Lee Garden area to the Causeway Bay MTR station, with light meal takeaway shops and art installations along the way, providing pedestrians with a sustainable and comfortable five to seven-minute walking experience directly to Lee Garden Phase 8.
The project has specially appointed international traffic planning consultant Hongda Transportation Consultants to develop a comprehensive entrance and exit design plan for Lee Garden Phase 8 and improve the ground road conditions, including widening the access road to Mount Kellett and Leighton Road, which is expected to enhance traffic efficiency in the area by up to 25%.
Lee Garden Phase 8 not only features brand new retail spaces, gathering quality shops and outdoor dining, but also includes 60,000 square feet of green open space, allowing the public to enjoy a lush resting environment in the bustling city, making it a new green landmark in Causeway Bay.

Huamao Group Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer Zeng Dianke mentioned that the traffic enhancement works planned for the project, including the construction of covered pedestrian bridges and optimization of the passage network, will bring a brand new walking experience to Causeway Bay.
