On April 1st, Jin10 Data reported that videos and images exposed online showed that on the night of March 29th, a new energy vehicle in Anhui crashed into the highway's central guardrail and caught fire. Burned vehicle frames indicated that the accident involved a Xiaomi SU7, with the front end almost completely destroyed. On April 1st, a spokesperson for Xiaomi responded to the online reports of the "Anhui Xiaomi SU7 high-speed collision explosion" and provided details about the accident. According to the Tongling City Transportation Bureau, the cause of the accident is under investigation, and a special working group has been established in Tongling City for this incident
