Tencent Cloud's large model knowledge engine upgrade supports the MCP protocol, helping developers expand application boundaries

On April 14th, Tencent Cloud announced an upgrade to its large model knowledge engine to support the MCP protocol. Users can call the platform's selected MCP plugins or insert custom MCP plugins when building applications. Currently, the knowledge engine platform has selected several MCP Servers, including Tencent Cloud EdgeOne Pages, Tencent Location Services, Airbnb, Figma, Fetch, etc., covering various scenarios such as professional information retrieval, web deployment and preview, and web parsing. In addition to the selected MCP plugins, users can also configure the already deployed MCP SSE services according to the MCP protocol for flexible calls in applications
