Ocado Group CEO to Temporarily Serve as Head of Ocado Solutions

Ocado Group CEO Tim Steiner will temporarily lead Ocado Solutions following the resignation of its chief executive, John Martin. Steiner will maintain his current responsibilities while overseeing the global rollout of the company's robotic grocery delivery software. Ocado is also searching for a long-term successor for Martin. James Matthews, CEO of Ocado Technology, will take on the role of deputy CEO during this transition.

Ocado Group Chief Executive Officer Tim Steiner will temporarily lead Ocado Solutions amid the resignation of the unit's chief executive, John Martin.

Steiner, who will keep existing group duties, told Bloomberg News that he will oversee the licensing of the retail technology group's robotic grocery delivery software, which it intends to roll out globally across supermarket stores, the Wednesday report said.

The company added that it initiated the search for Martin's long-term successor.

Ocado Technology CEO James Matthews will serve as the group's deputy CEO as part of the changes.
