Novo Nordisk opens weight loss drug Wegovy to telemedicine

Danish pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk (NVO.US) announced on Tuesday that it will provide its weight loss drug Wegovy through telehealth providers Hims & Hers Health (HIMS.US), Ro, and Life MD. Hims & Hers Health's stock surged 34% in pre-market trading.

Patients will be able to access Novo Nordisk's new direct-to-consumer online pharmacy NovoCare directly through telehealth providers
