HP remains the second-largest laptop manufacturer, holding a 20% share of the laptop market in the second quarter. Dell grew by 2% year-on-year, ranking third. Apple's latest MacBook Pro equipped with the M4 chip drove an increase in Apple's shipments, growing by 13% compared to the same period last year. ASUS continued to lead Acer this quarter. The firm still expects that the end date for Windows 10 support will drive new personal computer purchases, but the impact of tariffs on consumer and small business demand is expected to be greater than on large enterprises.
