CHINA WACAN: Peng Yunying has been appointed as Executive Director and President of the Company
CHINA WACAN announced that starting from May 16, 2025, Zhang Guohui, Wu Shangcong, and Ma Gengshen will resign as executive directors. Peng Yunying has been appointed as executive director and company president, and Guo Xianjiao has been appointed as executive director and dean of Wacan Business Academy. Zhou Zhenlin has been appointed as an authorized representative, and Professor Lin Chengguang has been appointed as an independent non-executive director
According to the announcement from CHINA WACAN (01920), starting from May 16, 2025: Mr. Zhang Guohui has resigned as Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company to devote more time to his other work arrangements and affairs; Mr. Wu Shangcong has resigned as Executive Director to devote more time to his other work arrangements and affairs; Mr. Ma Gengshen has resigned as Executive Director to devote more time to his other work arrangements and affairs.
Ms. Peng Yunying has been appointed as Executive Director and President of the company; Mr. Guo Xianjiao has been appointed as Executive Director of the company and Dean of Wacan Business Academy Limited, effective from May 16, 2025. Wacan Business Academy is an indirectly wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, primarily engaged in providing guidance and consulting services for beauty and health businesses.
With the resignation of Mr. Zhang Guohui, he will no longer serve as the authorized representative of the company as stipulated in Rule 3.05 of the Listing Rules. Mr. Zhou Zhenlin, Chairman and Executive Director, has been appointed as the authorized representative effective from May 16, 2025.
Mr. Zhou Zhenlin will no longer serve as President to devote more time to his role as Chairman; Mr. Guo Xianjiao will no longer serve as Vice President of the company to devote more time to his role as Executive Director, both effective from May 16, 2025.
Professor Lin Chengguang has been appointed as Independent Non-Executive Director, effective from May 16, 2025
