HSBC HOLDINGS (00005.HK) announced that yesterday (27th) it repurchased a total of 4.2116 million shares in the UK and Hong Kong markets, involving a total amount of HKD 390 million.

Among them, HSBC purchased 716,400 shares in the UK market at a price ranging from £8.667 to £8.75, with a weighted average price of £8.6903 per share. Additionally, it purchased 3.4952 million shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at a price ranging from HKD 92.35 to HKD 93.05, with a weighted average price of approximately HKD 92.6876 per share
