
Energy sector ETFs rose by about 2.7%, leading the U.S. stock industry ETFs along with semiconductor ETFs
On Tuesday (July 8), the energy sector ETF rose by 2.69%, the semiconductor ETF increased by 1.33%, the biotechnology index ETF, regional bank ETF, and banking sector ETF all rose by at least about 0.7%. The consumer discretionary ETF fell by 0.34%, the internet stock index ETF dropped by 0.77%, and the financial sector ETF declined by 0.89%. In the energy sector of the S&P 500 index, DVN, Halliburton, APA, Occidental Petroleum, Hess Corporation, Baker Hughes, and Diamondback Energy led the way with increases of at least 4.21%. Among them, Diamondback Energy ranked fifth among the constituents of the Nasdaq 100 index, while EQT fell by 2.33%, and Expand Energy dropped by 2.38%
