Meituan's order volume hits a new high, with an average delivery time of 34 minutes

According to domestic media reports, as of last Saturday (12th) at 11:36 PM, Meituan-W (03690.HK) (MPNGY.US) instant retail order volume reached 150 million orders, setting a new record. The peak order volume increased by 30 million orders week-on-week, with the average delivery time for all orders being 34 minutes.

The person in charge of Meituan's "Shen Qiang Shou" project stated that the real-time order volume for "Shen Qiang Shou" approached 40 million orders, with gift orders exceeding 10 million. The order amounts through mini-programs on social platforms like WeChat have repeatedly hit new highs, with friends sharing coupons and gift shares frequently reaching the WeChat social viral threshold. WeChat gifting has become an important marketing channel, while platforms like Xiaohongshu and Weibo have also become significant sales promotion tools, with the combined effect of marketing tools outperforming various app splash screen advertisements
