United Airlines stated that Mexico will return capital flight slots to American airlines
United Airlines announced in a document released on Thursday local time that Mexican officials informed several U.S. airlines during a call on August 18 that the reduced slots at Mexico City's main airport would be returned to them. The Mexican Ministry of Transportation did not immediately respond to a request for comment
