Alibaba earnings call: Taobao Flash Sale monthly active users reached 300 million, first phase target exceeded expectations

On the evening of August 29, during the Q1 fiscal year 2026 earnings analyst conference call, Jiang Fan, CEO of Alibaba's e-commerce business group, disclosed that Taobao Flash Sale's daily order peak reached 120 million orders, with the weekly average daily order volume in August reaching 80 million orders. On the user side, the overall monthly active user count for Taobao Flash Sale reached 300 million, a 300% increase compared to April. The daily active rider count reached a scale of 2 million, tripling since April. "After the development over the past few months, we have exceeded our expectations for the first phase of our goals," Jiang Fan stated
